How many saints do you think today’s teens can relate to? Probably not many since they tend to view saints as persons alive hundreds of years ago. The youth may feel that they stand little to no chance of answering the call to sainthood or finding a way to change the world by bringing people closer to God. Well, there lived this boy who loved playing soccer, video games, and never refused Nutella or ice cream…
Here are some F.A.Qs (Facts, calls to Action, and Quotations) that will help you get to know Blessed Carlo Acutis a little bit better.
1. F: From age 7, after receiving his First Holy Communion, he never missed Holy Mass. He also made visits to the Adoration chapel and prayed the Rosary daily.
2. A: Use your time wisely. Carlo knew what mattered most in life.
3. Q: “I am happy to die because I have lived my life without wasting a minute on those things which do not please God.”
4. F: He created a website regarding Miracles of the Eucharist that he began at the age of 11.
5. A: Play to your strengths and find ways to use that for God. Carlo made good use of the Internet to reach out to people. His true passion was the Eucharist and his mission was to make the eucharistic Christ known and loved by all.

In Carlo, we find a role model and great example of Christ’s living presence on earth. You are never too young to fulfill your mission. Life is never too short to bring God glory and be a saint.
